Señor Albert, para mi es una gran honor que la vida me proporciona en este momento, el tener que escribirle a una persona de tanta importancia mundial como lo es usted.

No todos tenemos la oportunidad de hacer algo tan importante y trascendental como lo esta haciendo usted, al defender a nuestra única casa, a nuestra única vivienda, como es nuestro planeta tierra.

Soy ANDRÉS MERENDA, Presidente de la Red Provincial de ONGs. de San Juan, en una provincia de mas de 700.000 habitantes y que con gran orgullo esta dentro de la República Argentina.

Usted, debe tener conocimiento mas que sobrados que nuestra Provincia es la que mas se ofrece en aras del desarrollo minero a las Multinacionales a través del Gobernador JOSÉ LUIS GIOJA, con el tema de la "MINERÍA RESPONSABLE" según su slogan, de la minería a cielo abierto, demás esta decirle sus consecuencias y el impacto que causa en nuestro recurso agua, aunque es difícil luchar contra el, puesto que casi todos los medios de comunicación son de su propiedad y los que aun no lo son están bien agiornados de publicidades, tanto de la minera, como del gobierno provincial, además también con su forma de ver las cosas, "TOTAL DENTRO DE 30 AÑOS NI YO NI USTED VAMOS A ESTAR".

Comentarle que vivimos gracias a los deshielos de nuestra Cordillera de Los Andes, lo cual estamos solo a 300 Kilómetros y en el faldeo de la Precordillera, y que al transformarse alimenta los nacientes ríos que surcan nuestra tierra y llega a nuestro ÚNICO VASO DE AGUA, llamado Dique de Ullum, que si se termina de contaminar, San Juan debe desaparecer, porque no tendríamos posibilidades de obtener agua de otro modo.

Señor GORE, al ver una película en donde su arenga, con toda su energía, me animo a escribirle y pedirle que venga a San Juan y nos conceda el honor de tenerlo en nuestra humilde provincia y escuchar su conferencia magistral y que podamos a partir de allí abrir las mentes a nuestros comprovincianos que pareciera que duermen algún sueño raro del que no pueden despertar, por ahí mi bronca con ellos, puesto que siempre apoyan lo que a ellos mismos los destruye.

Señor Gore, me comprometo a conseguirle a través de mis contactos el pasaje y la estadía en mi provincia, lo que me debería decir si usted cobra algún tipo de honorarios, cosa que no me podría comprometer, pero si hacer algún tipo de diligencia, para lograr que una personalidad como usted llegue a San Juan.
Para mi y mis comprovincianos seria muy importante, pues la vida de esta provincia esta en juego.
Como también me gustaría apoyar humildemente su próximo objetivo, que es el de realizar una película magistral sobre la desnutrición y el hambre en la infancia en el mundo.
